This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for the booking amount paid on fayda365.com. Please read it before paying.

1. What the booking amount is
When you decide to go ahead with a solar installation, you pay a booking amount (token amount) mentioned on our website to confirm your booking. If the project goes ahead, the booking amount is adjusted in your final bill. Fayda365 Solar is a solar marketplace: we connect you with a verified installation partner, and our representative guides you until the installation is complete.

2. Cancellation by you

1. Before the site visit: you can cancel at any time and receive a full refund of the booking amount.

2. After the site visit and before the installation partner confirms your order: you can cancel and receive a refund of the booking amount, less a service charge of ₹2000.

3. After the installation partner has confirmed your order or started procuring material or work: the refund, if any, depends on the costs already incurred. We will tell you the amount in writing before you decide.

3. Cancellation by us
We will refund your booking amount in full if we cannot take your booking forward, for example if your site is not feasible for solar, your location is outside our service area, or we cannot match you with a suitable installation partner.

4. How to request a cancellation or refund
Contact us with your name, mobile number and Razorpay payment ID (starting with pay_):

We will confirm your request in writing.

5. Refund timeline
Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days to the original payment method. Your bank or card issuer may take an additional 5 to 7 business days to show the amount in your account.

6. Failed or duplicate payments
If money was deducted but your booking was not confirmed, or you were charged twice, the amount is automatically reversed by the payment gateway, usually within 5 to 7 business days. If it is not, contact us with your payment details and we will help.

7. Project payments to the installation partner
Only the booking amount is collected by Fayda365 Solar. The balance of the project payment is paid directly to the installation partner's bank account. Cancellation and refund of that balance follow the installation partner's terms, which our representative will share with you before you confirm your order.
